2. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Lovable Labs Incorporated and delivered through the global edge network of Cloudflare, Inc. When you access the site, the infrastructure processes technically necessary access data: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, referrer, HTTP status code, volume of data transferred, and browser and operating-system identifiers.

Purpose: technical delivery, stability and security of the website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning service).

Retention: server logs are kept only briefly for operations and security purposes and are then deleted automatically. Transfers to the USA take place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

3. Contact and demo form

If you use the form on this website, we process the data you provide: name, firm or company, email address and your message.

Purpose: handling your enquiry, scheduling a product walkthrough and the subsequent correspondence. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps preparatory to a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries.

Recipients: submissions are transmitted via our backend infrastructure (Supabase, operated through Lovable Cloud) and the email delivery provider Resend, Inc. You also receive an automatic confirmation of your enquiry.

Retention: we keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and to comply with statutory retention obligations, and delete them afterwards.

4. Email communication

If you write to hello@kiplusm.de, we process your email address, your name and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Messages remain in our mailbox until the purpose no longer applies and no retention obligations remain.

5. Job applications

Applications submitted through our careers page reach us by email. We process the application materials solely to run the recruitment process. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR together with § 26 BDSG. Materials from unsuccessful applications are deleted no later than six months after the process concludes, unless you have consented to longer storage.

6. Cookies, local storage and tracking

This website sets no analytics, marketing or tracking cookies and embeds no advertising pixels or session-recording tools. No profiling takes place.

The only strictly necessary item is one entry in your browser's local storage:

• kim-theme — stores your choice between the light and dark appearance. Origin: this website. Lifetime: until you clear it in your browser. Legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG (strictly necessary for the function you requested) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

7. Fonts and embedded content

All fonts are served from our own server. No third-party fonts, maps, videos or chat widgets are loaded, so viewing the site establishes no connection to third-party servers.

8. Your rights

Under Art. 15–21 GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. Where you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future.

To exercise your rights, a message to hello@kiplusm.de is sufficient.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You may also contact the supervisory authority of your habitual residence or place of work, including the competent state data protection authority in Germany.
